One Live project.
Many cities.
SameSet connects your Ableton Live sets: knobs, clips, notes and samples show up for everyone in a fraction of a second. No stem exports, no “send me the latest version”.
Three steps to the same project
No stems, cloud folders or file names like final_v7_REAL. One set — for everyone at once.
Share your project
Open the set in Live, press Share and ⌘S. The project and all its samples go to your room, and you get a code.
Your friend enters the code
The project downloads and opens in their Live with every sample. SameSet tells them up front which plugins are missing.
Make music together
Knobs, clips, notes and samples show up for everyone in a fraction of a second — like sharing one computer.
Everything you touch in Live — for everyone
SameSet listens to your set from inside Live and sends every change. While your friend turns a knob, you watch it turn on your screen.
Knobs & mixer
Volume, pan, sends and any device parameter
Clips & notes
Session and Arrangement: create, move, split, write notes
Samples
Drop a file in — it downloads for everyone and lands in place
Tracks & devices
New tracks, effects, their order and settings
Plugin presets
Serum, Diva and other VST3/AU plugins — sent after ⌘S
Groups & automation
After ⌘S everyone gets “Update project” — takes a couple of seconds
Lives on top of Live, not instead of it
Floats over Live
A small panel sits above Live and never steals focus — keep working without switching apps
Hides into a dot
One click and only a small circle is left. A dot on it tells you when something needs you
Tells you what matters
A notification when your friend updates the project, joins the room or the connection drops
Make it together. Or show how you make it.
Collaborators
Friends, a band, a producer and a singer — everyone edits the project at the same time. Up to 10 people in a room.
Viewers
Students, stream audiences, a client — they watch and listen as the track comes to life, and can’t break anything.
Only the host pays
Everyone else in the room joins for free. Cancel anytime.

The short answers
More in Help. Can’t find yours? Write to [email protected] — we reply within a day.
Do we need the same version of Ableton Live?
You need Live 12. If your friend has an older version than yours, SameSet warns you up front: a project saved in a newer Live may not open in an older one.
Does it work on Windows?
Not yet — SameSet runs on macOS 13 and newer, on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. A Windows version is in the works.
What about plugins?
Everyone needs the plugins installed. Before joining, SameSet shows which ones are missing. VST3 and AU settings are sent after ⌘S.
Do you keep my projects?
No. Project files travel over an encrypted connection and stay on our server in Europe only while the room is in use. They are deleted 24 hours after the last activity, or 10 minutes after the host ends the session.
What if my internet drops?
Keep working — everything you did reaches the others as soon as you’re back online.
Open Live. Invite a friend.
Your first session together is a couple of minutes after installing.
